Black women in vintage perfume ads 🎞 Finding these gems is so worth the search every time. I’m a huge nerd about vintage Black glamour in print. It’s one of my absolute favorite things. I hope to replicate them one day. Publications like @ebonymagazine @essence @thejetmag are the very reason most of these even exist. Before them, seeing Black women is beauty ads was nearly unheard of. You see what magic comes from having dedicated spaces, made for us BY us? Talk about goals. I’ve recently started scouring the internet to start a collection of them. I found a set of 3 original ads online for $60. They are coming from Chicago and should be here next week, I can’t wait to show y’all when they get here! 🤎
