Decade of Truth💖✨ this piece is dedicated preserving and honoring the history of the women that came before Ruth. the braids reflecting the unity of her ancestors, as well as the pain that is intertwined. the corn being a symbol of the land we come from, and the nourishment that Ruth's abuela's cultivated from seed to soil. Ruth uses their body in its truest form to honor them and their love for her. All these elements have molded Ruth into who she is and who she will be.
