The unconditional love I felt from my dad was boundless. He was also the smartest person I knew, and he had a gift for sharing his knowledge in humble, gentle ways. When helping me with my chemistry homework one day he told me that though he wasn’t religious and was 100% a man of science, his awe at the creation and design of all living things made him believe there must be a higher power. We lost him to this world yesterday, and I imagine he’s in a place finally learning what science hasn’t yet explained, and excited to share that knowledge when we meet him there. 💫
