"Everything regarding my preceptorship with Dr. Alster was nothing less than spectacular. Dr. Alster is highly knowledgeable with years of research to support her methods of cosmetic and laser surgery practice. She is also very charming and willing to teach in a highly relevant manner, making digestion of concepts very easy. She walked me through basic laser safety principles and practical approaches to laser surgery, outlining clearly her methodology and pre and post procedural considerations. Also, Dr. Alster was not shy in outlining her basic approach to neurotoxins and fillers. She guided me step by step on how to restore aged faces to a youthful upside-down triangle. She was very cognizant in making sure I got to see a colorful variety of all the procedures her practice offers, which made my experience very well rounded and fulfilling. Without a doubt, I gained an immense amount of knowledge regarding cosmetics and laser surgery that I otherwise would not have gotten if I did not participate in the ASLMS preceptorship program.
