Breastfeeding Friendly Clothes that are not specific to maternity
A couple weeks ago, I surveyed you all asking your help to find breastfeeding friendly clothes, and if possible, from non-maternity brands/styles.
Lots of people love the gorgeous @hillhouse nap dress, which seems to have started a trend because smocked tops are on trend right now. And, as many told me, are perfect for breastfeeding.
They are stretchy, easily pulled down to feed, and are very body-forgiving for the ever-changing postpartum body (We all know those lactating breasts feel like they can be multiple different sizes throughout the day).
I found several similar options at lower prices so wanted to have fun and share!
I had several suggestions for @loft so I went searching and this is what I found! They have a few other jumpsuits and many button front styles, too. I also bought 2 smocked peplum tops and a button front romper.
@jcrewfactory was also having a big sale so I picked up another smocked dress from them (and several other smocked and loose fitting tops).
I don’t use a nursing cover in public so I also bought a couple nursing bras that have a triangle of fabric that covers a small portion of the top of the breast for the illusion of a little top boob coverage with these pull down tops. Not necessary, but I wanted to try it out.
On sale these were (in order) $40, $24, $45, and $60
I also found some great things from nursing-specific brands you all suggested. Should I show those, too?
*I have no affiliation with any of these brands and purchased all items.
