We crossed into Panama today, our final country in Central America. We planned to stay on the Caribbean at an out-of-the-way restaurant, but the property was deserted when we arrived. Plan B (which we didn’t actually have until forced into it) took us into the mountains, where we could see the ocean with its islands in the distance. It is so peaceful here, quiet, foggy, and cool. It only takes a few experiences like this before one learns to embrace the awry and unexpected. 🇵🇦
