Introducing our new Head Sommelier, Miguel Angel Gomez Cabrera.⁠ ⁠ A Barcelona native, Miguel has over 14 years of experience in wine hospitality, including stints at 67 Pall Mall, The Square and most recently Louie London.⁠ ⁠ Miguel believes curiosity is key when it comes to the role of the sommelier, and is passionate about seeking out new and established vignerons and producers that are making wines whose uniqueness will stand next to @its_isaac’s tasting menus.⁠ ⁠ He joins us here at The Clove Club to drive our wine list forward as we reach the end of a pivotal year, following the award of our second Michelin Star. We’re thrilled to have his expertise with us at The Clove Club. Expertise he's already begun to share with the team, helping to build their knowledge and confidence with weekly wine education sessions and blind tastings.⁠ ⁠ When he's not on the floor he'll most likely be found indulging in his second love for bikes and heavy metal music.
