This time last year I had the shock of my life to find out from OFCOM that through the Pandemic my YouTube Fitness Workouts had been watched the most, even beating the brilliant Joe Wicks. This first picture is the article from The Telegraph πŸ“° The morale of this story and why I am posting this now, is that no matter how many knock backs you get, or how many times you fail - never give up and give 100 percent and see that you can achieve so much. I am the proof. At school, I struggled and failed nearly all my exams, I am dyslexic and have ADHD (which years ago nobody really understood). Despite these hurdles, I did not stop, because, by the time I reached adulthood, I realised that I new I was on a mission to teach as many people as I could how to be our best through exercise and positivity. I remember 20 years ago hiring a town hall and offering a free class on exercise, I spent a day walking around the town handing out flyers and even posting them through residential letterboxes. I remember nervously waiting on that day and literally nobody turned up!!! And the irony now 20 years on is that with the power of the internet and social media I can help people all over the world. And through the most challenging year the world has experienced in a long time, my workouts have been helping millions. The story even made headlines from πŸ“°National Press and TV πŸ“Ί on This Morning And this week in The Telegraph I was number 1 in a Top 10 for quick workouts. So a message here to all of #lucyssquad remember you can do anything you put your mind to and always say to yourself #YesICan (You can see more about my mission and story from my TedTalk at Surrey University- which is up on YouTube) Lucy πŸ’ƒπŸ§šπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ’‹πŸ’‹
