My kiddos and their friends spent the better part of last week + weekend working on this incredible camp situation in our woods. Their fort structures are amazing complete with benches, a fire pit, a table, they swept the whole area clean, they cut open vines to find fresh water and generally lived every kids dream of living the woods. They had THE MOST fun and were out there for hours every day⛺️ This is what childhood is for- this pure magic ✨and I’ll forget any plans any day to give them the time and space for this. Because not only am I super proud of this phenomenal fort situation, but more importantly, THEY’RE super proud and that’s the main goal - for them to work towards and on things that matter to them and to be proud of themselves.
