Whoa, Happy World Photography Day! Ha, there's literally a day for everything out there. I feel like just last week it was world photo day or something 😅. In all seriousness though I'm so thankful that photography came into my life. It has taken me to some pretty cool places around the world and it's also something that keeps me hungry to keep traveling, experiencing new things, and learning more about this beautiful, small rock we call home. 🌎 For this photo, this might have been one of the coolest places I've been - our last campsite on the Alsek River, Alsek Lake. It's a huge lake filled with beautiful icebergs that we could hear the entire time we were there. This one was taken just across the outflow of the lake from our camp at sunset. Check out all those grounded icebergs just waiting to melt enough to continue their journey all the way to the ocean! They don't look it, from this, but some of those guys were huge. I could only imagine how big they were under the surface 😳
