A few days ago, @saltlakeclimbers held an event to push back against UDOT's proposed gondola and road widening projects. Ted Wilson spoke about the history and tradition within Little Cottonwood. Jacob Anderegg, a Utah state Senator and climber himself, lended his support to find a better solution. I talked about growing up with the canyon and how much the endangered boulders have taught me. Climbed a bit on Standard Overhang and showcased a few of the unique lines. It was a bittersweet experience because they truly are fantastic lines, but it may have been one of my last chances to climb them if our community can't sway the decision...
