“Not everyone has time to volunteer,” Scout Swonger said. “What is two hours of my week and life if it makes a huge difference to someone else?” Scout, who uses they/them pronouns, was one of 500 volunteers who helped distribute holiday meals to 1,700 households in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
