Chicano 🚨 Alert: Joe Moreno (top right) is a 2nd generation Sacramento Lowrider from Del Paso Heights. Since January, he has worked diligently to educate Sacramento County elected officials about the culture of Lowriding and the need for the city to repeal the No Cruising Ordinance. • In May 22 of 2022, he along with members of the Sacramento Lowrider Commission / Community, successfully repealed the No Cruising ordinance with a unanimous vote from city council, making Sacramento the first city in the state of California to repeal their anti-cruising ordinance. • The picture above is of Joe taking down the last sign and putting an end to an area when No Cruising signs ran up and down the corridors of our Barrios. • Joe is a husband, father, city worker and proud Chicano. 📷 @misundrstood.photography
