Hate crime based on sexual orientation has doubled in four years, and two in five trans people have experienced a hate crime or incident because of their gender identity in the last 12 months. 2. Queer, Trans and Intersex People of Colour face additional violence here and around the world. Our March for Peace is also a march for justice - without justice there is no peace. 3. Because all LGBTQ+ people deserve the same protection from ‘conversion therapy’ practises. 4. Trans, non-binary and gender diverse people deserve peace from media fear tactics and hateful legislators. 5.
