Access to assisted reproductive technology is part of the full spectrum of reproductive health care and impacts an individual’s human rights. The Center works to promote equitable access to assisted reproduction, advocating for laws and policies that ensure all people impacted by infertility have access to information and services free from discrimination. Earlier this year, a new law took effect in India that regulates assisted reproduction and incorporates several of the Center and partners’ recommendations. We are continuing to urge careful monitoring and implementation of the law from a rights-based perspective.
