Read their story below: “Kate and Stephen de Windt are the Owner/Operators of Somerset Farms, a u-pick farm and event venue located in Parkland County, Alberta, Canada. Kate grew up in southern Ontario where she earned a degree in Marine & Freshwater Biology from the University of Guelph. She didn’t grow up in a rural setting, but always loved being in the country. Marriage brought her to Alberta where she is now a full-time farmer.
