It's been two years since I have fully indulged in living out of a suitcase for a long period of time. While the thrill of living out of a suitcase life no longer appeals to me, what I have found refreshing are the moments I've been able to spend with people I connected with long ago on this platform. 10 Years ago this platform cultivated a communal atmosphere that legitimized traveling to an unknown country to learn about others cultures and adapt to a different way of living. It permitted us to connect, on our shared love for creativity, music, film, art, culture, books... And while there are still remnants of that ethos, it takes a bit more intentionality to navigate this social sphere and make it work for you.
