After a good long slow build of sport fitness over the past couple months, I felt like a real sport climber at this year's Sport National Champs. I was very open with myself about my goal of winning, so to take 3rd was a hard reality to swallow. Regardless, the event was a confidence builder, and my mistakes on the finals route will teach me more about this intricate world of endurance. Very psyched for my next chance to problem solve while blasted pumped🙂 Big respect to @yayjesse_g for showing us yet again that it's always possible to do one more move🤯 I've decided not to compete in bouldering... Certainly not an easy decision, but the bottom line is that the psych just isn't in me this time. Most of all, I'm sad to be missing the chance to compete for my hometown. But it'll be fun to enjoy the show with y'all! Good luck to all the homies competing!!
