"Reflexiónes," my very first solo photo exhibition will open Friday, July 1st from 7-10pm at @juniorhighla!! I grew up going to art exhibits and immersing myself in art. Never did I imagine that my dream of having my own exhibit to share my work with others would come true. My goal is to highlight the diverse representation I saw/see around me but seldom see in media/museums. "Reflexiónes," serves as a reflection of my own experiences and that of my subjects to the outside world. This exhibit is a love letter to Los Angeles, and to my younger self who dared to dream big and believe that this was possible. Thank you Junior High LA for providing a beautiful space to showcase my work.
