Allahamdullilah MashaAllah Tabarakallah During thanksgiving break I got the chance to see my father for the first time in 20 years. 20 years of not the best communication, bickering and everything you can think of in between. We sat at IHOP and talked for hours as if no time went by, as if we’ve both been longing for this connection for years even though I know we have. If you know me, you know I always always say, “everything happens for a reason, the reason we might not know now, but when we do figure it out, all the hard times will make sense” And after 20 years, it all made sense. Everything you guys are seeing on my stories, we’re all experiencing this together for the first time and I appreciate everyone’s kind words. This is the happiest I’ve been in my whole life yall, seeing my dad being the business man I aspire to be. Seeing all the people he takes care of, all the people he’s helped, his mind!!! Like this my twin fr yall 😭 felt like the last piece to my puzzle has been plugged in. Thank you to everyone who’s made my trip the best trip of my life. I’m a Naija babe FOR REAL now 😂
