It’s actually our only pic taken together and this was the first time at a Sydney Hotel and now wished I had taken more but was subsequently too shy about it. You have carved a Xanadu of camp, sparkles and fantasy for this little day-dreaming boy many years ago. Because of you I have fearlessly belted countless versions of off-key notes of Hopelessly Devoted to You, everytime I feel sad. I loved how you smiled at me at the door when I arrive, your vibrato and the echoes of your laughter which will live in this boy’s memory like magic for many many years to come.
