Had the most amazing opportunity to create an artwork for @msmarvelofficial Episode art campaign for @marvelstudios - thanks to @_productofculture_ . While watching Ms. Marvel, I never realized how much I enjoy and how much happiness it brings me seeing actual snippets of my life in such a huge show such as this. I love seeing the representation but I also LOVE the stereotypes and stigma it breaks. Growing up I always felt like I didn't fit into these perfect boxes - where I wasn't South Asian enough, American enough, Muslim enough, etc. My identity was always an amalgamation of all these things - and I was always proud of all my identities but never a perfect archetype. So I always felt like an oddball, but watching Ms Marvel validated everything I felt. Ms Marvel does a great job of not bucketing Kamala Khan into only one of these groups and keeping in mind that she has multiple facets. . Thank you again @_productofculture_ for this amazing opportunity.
