I hesitate to post travel pics at times - but this one is an important one that I wanted to share. It’s the view from my room on the first trip I’ve taken in a while. As a birthday present to myself, I booked a trip solo to @sivanandabahamas to meditate and regroup. So many things almost prevented me from going. But I got myself there where I gave up coffee (I’m back on it 🥴), meditated regularly, ate vegan and got my body back to its regular yoga practice. After 2+ years of the living under Covid in NYC, I feel like I spread my wings to shake off some of the weight of that period. We can’t underestimate the toll of the last few years on our bodies and minds and those of our children. The communal global suffering from the environment, wars and illnesses are a huge load to carry. As we move forward, we need to pay attention to supporting the mental health of those around us.
