One of the coolest projects that I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of and a new direction for my work. For the 75th anniversary of @louisvillemag , myself and other fine photographers featured portraits of people who inspired us in our daily lives and in turn, they gave us people who inspired them who we then photographed. This project took me to a marina in the countryside, to a convent, to my favorite coffee shop back home. From my former colleague who runs the first disability advocacy organization in the state run completely by folks with disabilities, to a participant in the sit ins in the Civil Rights Movement, It was a true pleasure to go around the city and meet wonderful people and hear their amazing stories.
