I tried to go back and find the first message @chefzarahkhan sent in April 2019 from Seattle to inquire about aprons for the @londonplaneseattle . Fortunately or unfortunately we’ve had too many messages back and forth over DM since then about anything and everything. What I do remember is how passionate, discerning and thoughtful she was in our conversation about ordering aprons for her team. That was an early indicator to me that Zarah takes care of her team, knows what she wants, and is not afraid to ask for it. Her move to LA to cook @botanicafood (week 1 of Covid, mind you) only strengthened her love of cooking, her work ethic, and her self-determined goal of bettering her kitchen team and her community. She has a tireless drive and creative spirit. We’re so excited for her next charge in taking the helm @rusticcanyon next month!
