A week at my sisters in Clare where I got to hang with the two new members of the house hold, Kune pig brothers Luigi and Smudge, who are able to rip up the surface of a lawn in seconds and have a need for physical closeness, snuggling up to you when you sit with them and letting out low contented grunts as you scratch them. They love a walk too, and would drag you down the road if they decide to run but mostly they like to smell out insects in the roadside ditches and tear up the topsoil with their snouts. Very social creatures, some of the smartest in the animal kingdom ( the same cognitive ability as a three year old human according to my sis ) and lovely company. Sending love from Ireland. Xx
