Thrilled to have been included in @congobiennale which opened two days ago in Kinshasa, DRC! I’m showing a video work at the Institut Français titled ‘When the Bodies Dissolved into the Ether, the Orbs Sang Notes of the Heaven’. It’s a very moving moment for me to see my work reaching the ground of my ancestry. __ ‘The Breath of the Ancestors’ is the second edition of Congo Biennale. It’s curated by Armelle Dakouo, Fahamu Pecou and Vitshois Mwilambwe Bondo. The shows run across the city from 16 sept. - 23 oct.
