Pet food can be a huge pain to store. Either the storage options are ugly, don’t match your decor, or expensive. For this build I used a reclaimed 36x12x18in wall cabinet, 10in drawer slides, and 3/4in plywood. I was able to make it perfectly match my existing kitchen cabinets so this space feels so cohesive now! For this build I used @zinsser shellac based BIN primer and @behrpaint Marquee in the color Broadway. I got the cabinet secondhand from @habitat_stores for $44, and the drawer slides for $12 from @amazon. The plywood I had on hand but you can get a 4x4ft sheet for less than $45, making this project pretty dang affordable! The tools I used were @ryobitoolsusa circular saw, table saw, and drill and driver, as well as a @kregjig pocket hole jig. You could definitely build this without the table saw, but it does make it a little easier. My original plan was to make a padded bench top, but I realized I had some scrap butcher block and I loved how that tied this area in with the whole kitchen!
