To everyone working in this industry - on the board or not - I appreciate you. There was a lot that went into building this and I hope it turns into something people aspire to be on or a part of and that we can build it into something huge with everyones’ energy. I hope it represents and respects hip-hop the right way. It’s coming from a place of love and celebration (like Freshmen) - for the artists and the industry. There is no shade. There is supposed to be nothing negative about it. I’m sorry for any hurt feelings as nothing was ever intended to reflect that. This is a hard game to be a part of. I know how hard you all work. If anyone knows me - you know I don’t often speak out much because it’s not about me. I guess sometimes you have to share how you feel. And IG seems to be the platform for that.
