The house of volunteer Saško and his family in Загальці / Zahalci village, Kyiv region. During the occupation, Saško evacuated people from Borodianka. Just as Saško himself evacuated from the village, an air raid happened and destroyed his and his neighbor's houses. When we arrived in the village, people were dismantling rubble, cleaning, and laying bricks. We decided to help them repair the building that housed grandma, grandfather, Saško, and his parents. At the first stage, we restored the wall with brick decoration around the windows and internal insulation. Work took 3 weeks.
