#DidYouKnow that even mature plants bend toward the light? 🌿🌞 They do this by elongating the cells on the ~ darker ~ side. This type of light-oriented growth is called phototropism. The substance responsible for cell elongation is auxin. A phytohormone which is formed in cells at the tip of a shoot and is then passed from cell to cell throughout the plant or tree 🌬.
