As a daughter of two United Methodist ministers, my faith has always been a guiding principle. Before college, I had a different perspective on abortion rights.
But one of my dear friends who shared my faith challenged me to listen and ask questions about abortion. Changing your opinion as you learn more isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a sign of strength and growth.
Abortion care is health care. As a person of faith and as the next governor, it’s my responsibility to protect a woman’s right to choose.
