We finished up our trip by traveling to Scotland. We started in Edinburgh and then went on to Galashiels. In Edinburgh we were able to visit many local stops along the Royal Mile and Victoria Street. In Galashiels we were able to visit manufacturers that produce luxury knitwear for companies such as Chanel and Burberry. We also visited a textile studio! We met with professors from the Heriot-Watt University throughout our industry visits. We participated in various workshops at the university. One of the workshops included us learning how to use knitting machines! One of our visits was to Aero Leather. We got to see their whole process of making custom, replicas of vintage jackets! Overall this course was an amazing learning opportunity full of so many great experiences!
