Driving back and forth from Amsterdam to Copenhagen through beautiful Denmark I noticed so many Dutch license plates on the roads and I wondered, did we always go on holidays up north this much? Or is- and will the direction of our travels change now that southern parts of Europe get hotter and maybe at some point even too hot for a comfortable summer holiday. All southern EU countries faced temperatures reaching up and above 40degrees. That’s mad. With a continuing drought this climate crisis is now also pushing wild fires around, making evacuations tourists happening as we speak.
