I am so beyond excited to announce that @a_communityproject has officially launched today!!✨ Instagram handle in bio!!! In light of recent tragedies that have unfolded in the Asian community, I organized a fundraising initiative called @a_communityproject with @kathymk_ @sakeeks @girlshitonme @serienotsiri @yvivlee. We’ve collaborated with 70+ Asian-identifying artists, designers, photographers - as well as Asian-owned restaurants and brands, who have generously donated their goods and services. The structure is simple, $10 = 1 entry. Check out our gram to see what you want to donate to and your $10 will go into a drawing for a chance to win the item. (Unlimited entries!!) Within a time where our AAPI community is facing an uptick of violence and under representation, we decided to band together and create this initiative so we can uplift our community. 100% of the proceeds will go towards @aaldef (The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund) which helps protect the rights of the AAPI community including conducting free multi-lingual legal advice for our NON ENGLISH SPEAKING ELDERS IF THEY GET ASSAULTED.
