i have a feeling the conversation leading up to this photo went something like, “hey mom, can i go play dress up in your closet? hey mom, can you put this tiara on me? hey mom, can we take a photo while i pose?” i also have no doubt that her response to each of these questions was, “of course, lily” with a smile as big as the one pictured. for 21 years, she has continued to show me an immeasurable sense of support, love, & encouragement. & what’s even cooler to me is that whether you meet her a million times or only once, she, without a doubt, will show you all of these qualities, too. she leaves a mark on every room she enters, & man, i hope i grow up to be just like her!!!! she’s my best friend in the whole world & she deserves to be celebrated every day!!!!!!! happy birthday, mommy!!!!! hug you so soon 💌💌💌💌💌
