I’m not gonna front, sometimes being “the only black person” or “the first black person” is hard lol & comes with a lot of pressure. And although it can be draining, I’ve grown to embrace it and attach it to my purpose as a creator & entrepreneur. I take pride knowing that when people of diverse backgrounds work with me, they are getting ALL of me & my culture, and I think my online community knows that as well which is why they feel comfortable with me representing for them.
