The latest exhibit from @agakhanmuseum is called Afghanistan My Love and it’s simultaneously beautiful and a gut punch... very impactful. It’s a group of works by ArtLords Collective. Here’s a quote that best describes what I witnessed last night “The paintings are arranged in groupings that point to many of the key themes addressed by the collective including, the empowerment of women and girls, a desire to see its people heal and a move from war towards peace for all.” Congratulations to the CEO of AKM, Ulrike Al-Khamis and the entire team for a beautiful opening.
