1 yr anniversary of my collaboration track with Panda Bear :) I’ve made it a free download on @bandcamp for the day making this track over quarantine - sharing files back and forth with noah - really helped me thru the world collapsing - was going thru a period of feeling too overcome by anxiety to work on music but once I got those drum stems from noah it ignited my brain & we went down the rabbit hole and came out with such a rad tune - the battle of anxiety & joy while the world continues to crumble - i hope this track can help ignite and keep people going & enjoy the lil joys. this track was the first real collaboration track I did with anyone. music making isn't something i can participate in the same way most people do - cuz of how i make my tunes & the time & energy it takes to do it. in the end im just doing it to play around with sounds and see what i can discover but these sort of interplays with other artists (sonic or visual) whether its a collaboration or remix - it really helps me see new sonic paths and get invigorated to keep on playing.
