Mauna Loa’s eruption has undoubtedly captured the attention of the entire world, and rightfully so! Today is day 3 and you can see from these photos that the hot magma has reached the PTA boundary line and Mauna Loa Observatory Rd has been covered with lava in several locations. There are currently 3 active fissures with continuous lava flow. Stay tuned for daily updates of lava flow and road closures.
