Today marks my last day living in our Clinton Hill home as a resident, and this is my love letter to NYC captured on film. To gathering our friends around the dinner table, to being open and vulnerable with one another as we drink wine and dig into a huge communal pot of curry together, and to growing a community that I care so so freaking deeply about. The last swipe is what @mishasumitra and I wrote one month after moving into our Brooklyn apartment and starting @hernameisnala. It’s crazy how manifestation works. It really really works guys. Three years ago I could never have dreamed of being able to feed our loved ones for work and for fun. Please, write down your dreams, be steadfast about them, work hard, and be nice. And check-in with yourself from time to time if you’re on the right track. You might find yourself veering off the path you had originally envisioned, but as long as you know that with each step of the you’re being true to who you are (and you’re having fun doing it whilst in good company), please just keep marching on. Yes I’m tearing up as I am posting this while boarding my flight home and apologies for how much this sounds like my stream of consciousness because it actually is. To my beloved New York and all the amazing friends whom have taken the time out of your busy schedules to come over to our home and sit around Nala (you know who you are) — thank you. Thank you for being the reason I call this city home. I cherish you all so so deeply. This isn’t a goodbye — I’ll be seeing you guys (and feeding you again) soon 🥹 and to my dearest Bangkok, I’m so so freaking excited to be back.
