Last Friday we closed out our 7 week program at our Model Boat Shop! We were SO happy to bring this program back for the summer after a 4 year hiatus. Participants worked at their own pace to build their very own model boat! Participants learned not only wood working skills, but independence, patience, and dedication towards a project that would end up being their most prized possession they will have forever. ⛵️ They ended the summer with the 2022 Clyde W. Ellerman Memorial Regatta where participants got to let their creations set sail in the Colorado Lagoon! 🤩
