A Greek Christmas🇬🇷🎄❤️ • “For unto us a child is born”, Because upon us is a world so torn, But God made a promise, And sent Jesus, So we may receive a gift never out worn, Him in the flesh for our sins He bore, The power of His death and resurrection already planned, Fear not for there is nothing, But our ugly ways, To mourn. Christmas... It is not about me, It is not about lights on a tree, Or Santa giving out gifts and surprises, Hoping grandma’s card has money. The truth is, None of that really matters, If Jesus doesn’t know my heart. When the gift of Him can set me, And you, Free, From a world that wants us to be selfish, Creating chaos for all to see, Days like today need to be sanctified, To point towards the Lord, And teach someone of the grace to be, In the story of a baby lying in a manger, Birthed by the Virgin Mary, The shepherds then go out and sing, A Savior is born, The King of Kings, To God be the glory.
