I created this reel for two reasons: 1. To of course encourage you all to strive for what’s in your heart and never give up on it. 2. Because I needed something to look back on to encourage myself. If you’ve been following me for a while, you would notice that I haven’t been dancing like I used to. That’s probably why most of you follow me (my dancing videos). I got to a point where I felt so discouraged, I wasn’t confident (because everybody gets booked here & classes can turn into an audition real quick when it’s supposed to be a CLASS 🙄), and I thought I was losing my love for dance all together. Dance was MY LIFE. I even have the word tatted on my shoulder lol. I’ve never been technically trained, but I’m always looking to perfect my craft. I started focusing more on business and somehow I knew that’s what I was supposed to do IN THAT SEASON. But now, my heart is drawing back to my first love and y’all it feels so good. I mean, I’m not about to stop the business jush cuz I neeeeeds that lmfao. Every now and then, I have to come back to this video to remember who I AM. I can be both.
