This is a political protest and a photograph made for artistic educational purposes. Please do not remove. ___ After a week of waking up at 4am, shooting, scouting, editing, posting, driving, all over Ireland, Matthew had one idea left. We were able to get back to Dublin and rest up for a day before the final morning. He said we should do a horse in the middle of the city. I wasn’t sure how he was going to make that happen but I trusted and as the idea became more of a possibility I got more excited. The models remained completely calm, professional, and focused as we all tried to ignore a drug addict who made slurs, even tried to touch the models, and told us his life story. I am all for these experiences. A professor once told me that he didn’t care how I got the photograph, he just wanted to see a good image, but I love the story and others stories of how to manage to pull things together. I want to bring you all there with me through my words. This is one of my favorite photographs of all time and I hope you enjoy it too!
