In August 2018 @celihangout started a bible study- it was an absolute act of faith because she didn’t feel worthy or qualified to do so. At the time she was actually quite discouraged in brokenness but she obeyed the instruction and began in transparency. Faithfully she lead us, we met and did the assignments and on the 1st anniversary in 2020 we journeyed to the Sequoia National Forest to celebrate a year of not just studying the word of GOD but also spurring each other on to remain in pursuit of the virtues of GOD as we encountered the challenges of life. We got our name in that forest. Learning that Sequoia trees gain strength and are fortified in fire. This year instead of spending just the day we spent the weekend in prayer fellowship conversation and service of the group. The teaching, the beauty, the love was ever present and overwhelming. I thank GOD for these women and the village that couldn’t physically be there but who’s prayers vulnerability and testimonies have kept me encouraged and edified.
