Hi friends! 👋 It’s Fall, back-to-school/work-after-a-full-summer vibes are in the air, and it like the right time to reintroduce myself to all of the wonderful new faces behind these little screens of ours. If we haven’t met face-to-face, I hope this page makes it feel like we have. I’m an herbalist, nutritionist, instructor or mycology, newly published author, and my day job is innovation @foursigmatic. My goal of this page and really life in general is to be a source of connection between people and planet. I love our home, Mother Earth, and find that through a deeper connection with her, even the most confusing and seemingly complicated problems (whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual), can be resolved. Or if not resolved, can be looked at through a new lens. I also live deeply in the knowing of the suffering of our planet. We are in a time where awakening to the reality of the state of our Earth is essential. While I’ve had chapters of loud environmental activism, I quickly realized that was only created more noise, not solutions. Now, I hope to help raise the vitality of as many people as possible, so we can fulfill our life purposes and show up for the planet and give back- whatever that looks like for you (music, art, food, medicine, etc). I believe that ONLY if we are full ourselves- meaning we are truly nourished (fed, sleeping well, drinking clean water, exercising), will we be able to show up sustainably to the work we came to this planet to do. My hope is through these little images, stories, words, and moments, you are inspired to do more of what makes you YOU. I’ll share what makes me ME as a promise right back. This isn’t always herbal and mushroom education, sometimes it’s skiing, biking, climbing, surfing, connecting with loved ones and of course, the food and natural medicine components are never too far away.
