SO. The story behind this green dress is that I reached out to @emma.in.lace some months ago knowing that I wanted to celebrate my youtube one million in some spectacular way... because HELLO!! That’s a crazy number that I never dreamed I would ever reach a few years ago 🌹. The first video on my channel ever is a costume review of one of my favorite movies, Atonement (2007) with design by Jacqueline Durran. So, Emma took on the task of recreating Keira Knightley’s famous dress from the movie (slide 6) for me, using a vintage silk charmeuse fabric and updating the garment for more durability (in the movie, Durran created multiple dresses because the look was extremely delicate/sheer for movement value and so kept ripping.) The end product is magical and looked even better in person if you can believe it 😭 @rynburk did a FABULOUS job on my makeup, using queen @patmcgrathreal products. This was a really special night for me, which I could not have had without the love and support from everyone who watches/is subscribed to me. So thank YOU 💐✨
