Every mom deserves a safe pregnancy, but there are vast disparities in maternal health care based on where a mom lives, her ability to pay and the color of her skin. That's unacceptable, and it's why we started #BumpDay with @heidimurkoff and @whattoexpect. Our goal: raise awareness about the need for equitable care for every mom, everywhere, and to urge elected representatives to take action to support safe pregnancies and healthy babies. ⁠ ⁠ This year, #BumpDay is July 19th. You could also share a bump photo — yours, or someone you love — with this simple message: Every mom, everywhere deserves a safe pregnancy. Contact your congressional representatives using the link in our bio and urge them to pass the Momnibus Act, which aims to end preventable maternal mortality, severe maternal morbidity, and maternal health disparities.
