Hey baby - - - - There are no words that could express the magic that was created at Jimmys 2024. I tried my best to sum it all up in photos but that doesn’t do it justice either, im missing things from the tony awards to sitting in a dorm at 12 am laughing and hiding because we thought a chaperone was coming down the hall. During our pod meetings I always said the Jimmys was the friends we made along the way and I couldn’t tell you a person who disagrees. The bonds created across the entire program this year are absolutely inseparable and will last a lifetime. There’s a song on this post from Suffs the musical that we sang in our 2024 opening number with lyrics that say “i’ve never felt so alive before out here together I realize I’m not alone anymore. I feel a part of something bigger exploding open.” And I think this can really sum up the way that this experience made me feel. I’ve found my people in my place with my dedication fighting for my passion and it’s glorious. I’d like to thank all of my 2024 nominees for giving me the honor of spirit of the Jimmys you all know how much that award meant to me! So I won’t go on to write an essay cause even then my words won’t do this trip justice, thank you to everyone. ❤️ (ps. I ran out of tags :( I can only tag 20 people)
